Delete your account
Last updated: 19 October 2026
You can permanently delete your IronShape account and all data associated with it at any time. Here's how — and exactly what gets removed.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once confirmed, your data cannot be recovered.
From inside the app
- Open IronShape and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm in the dialog — your account and all data are erased immediately and permanently.
By email
Email support@ironshape.app from the address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll permanently delete your account and data within 30 days.
What data is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes all of the following:
| Account & sign-in (email, display name) | Yes — permanently |
| Profile & fitness inputs (age, height, weight, sex, goal, equipment, injuries) | Yes — permanently |
| Workout plan, completed workouts, logged lifts & reps | Yes — permanently |
| Body-weight history and heart-rate records | Yes — permanently |
| Friends, friend requests, challenges | Yes — permanently |
| Push-notification token | Yes — permanently |
What is retained
Nothing linked to your account is kept after deletion. What remains: usage events recorded before you signed in, tied to a random installation ID and not to your name or email, and crash reports, which Firebase Crashlytics keeps for 90 days. Your subscription itself is managed by Google Play; to stop billing, cancel the subscription in the Google Play Store (Play Store → Subscriptions). Anonymous purchase records required by Google Play / RevenueCat for accounting may be retained by those providers under their own policies, but contain no profile or fitness data.
